Xbox Live Arcade on ylläpitämä , jota käytetään pienten videopelien jakamiseen - ja - omistajille. Palvelu käynnistettiin ensimmäisen kerran vuoden 2004 lopulla ja se tarjoaa pelejä noin 5–15 euron hintaan. Vuoden 2005 lopulla Xbox Live Arcade käynnistettiin uudelleen Xbox 360:n julkaisun yhteydessä. Samalla julkistettiin myös uusia pelejä ja toimintoja. Pelit on suunnattu satunnaisille pelaajille. Pelien idea on usein yksinkertainen ja pelaamisen oppii helposti.
Xbox Live Arcade palvelun julkisti Microsoft 3. marraskuuta 2004 Xbox-pelikonsolille. Microsoft alkoi jakaa aloituslevyjä, jotka sisälsivät Xbox Live Arcade -ohjelmiston sekä ilmaisen version . Kun yhteys oli muodostettu -palveluun, asiakkaat voivat ostaa luottokortilla muita pelejä tai ladata 30 minuutin ajan toimivan kokeiluversion mistä tahansa saatavilla olevasta pelistä.
